Tilt Conversion Kit

The Falcon™ Tilt Conversion Kit was designed and engineered for clients with existing rehab seating who now are in need of a tilt system. This simple conversion system is also ideal where cost is a pressing concern. These kits convert many of the most popular power bases having rehab seating to a sixty degree Center of Gravity Tilt system. Because they are both easy to install and cost effective, they allow clients the option of a modern center of gravity tilt system for less than the price of what a pivot tilt system from other manufacturers might cost.

The Falcon™ Anterior Tilt has been engineered as a 60^o Center of Gravity Tilt that allows the leg rests or footplate to be brought all the way down to the ground. This system allows many clients to do a forward pivot transfer who otherwise would be unable to. It also can be very useful when trying to fit under tables and other low objects. The 5" of forward movement as the seat tilts back maintains the center of gravity for optimal stability.

Swivel Tilt

The Falcon™ Swivel Tilt has been engineered to meet the needs of the scooter user whose medical conditions now require posterior tilt for pressure relief. The Falcon™ Swivel Tilt is available in both a manual swivel model for the client with attendant help, and a power version for the client who needs to be able to perform the swivel function independently. Although it can perform the tilt function in any position, it comes equipped with a lock out  that only allows driving in the 0^o swivel position unless an alternative driving angle is desired.

180^o Sliding Seat Recline

The Falcon™ 180^o Sliding Seat Recline has been engineered to eliminate shear in the seat region by aligning the body's pivot point - the hips - with the pivot point of the chair, thereby protecting the ischials and tarsals while maintaining positioning throughout the recline. Because the back angle opens without moving the back up or down, all the attachments like laterals or chin controls stay in the same position throughout the full range of movement. The flat recline is ideal for catheter patients and for flat transfers to bed. This fixed frame system can be customized in almost any way that you can imagine and configured 'your way'. It can even be modified to put a molded back right at the backposts so that there is no need for extra length and the system doesn't end up overloading the front casters.
