The RSR (Reduced Shear Recline) for power base chairs includes all of the items to make it a complete replacement seat. The RSR features a raised pivot point for the use of a seat cushion. This, plus the solid seat and back, help keep shear and other skin damaging forces to a minimum. The Power Tilt & ASB (Adjustable Sliding Back) system includes all of the items to make it a complete replacement seat. This combination features all the benefits of a Tilt & ASB in one system. Tilt systems provide pressure relief by shifting weight from the seat to the back with the hip angle maintained. The ASB recline system offers the least amount of shear when reclining. Our power sliding tilt systems include armrests, swing-away footrests, seat, back and an adjustable headrest, while ensuring a full 60 degrees of tilt. This provides a minimum of change in the center of gravity as the system shifts the client's position. The system is available with both under-seat mounted tilt actuator or on-back mounted actuator.
